About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle from outbound prospecting and discovery to PoC, negotiation, and closing.
- Generate new pipeline through strategic outbound efforts, account mapping, and social selling.
- Build ROI-backed business cases aligned to customer KPIs and the cost of inaction.
- Lead multi-threaded deal cycles involving both technical and business stakeholders.
- Partner with Solutions Engineering to execute high-impact Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
- Win competitive deals by demonstrating strong differentiation within the modern data stack ecosystem.
Requirements
- 7+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with at least 3 years of consistent quota achievement.
- Proven track record of closing net-new mid-market business.
- Strong expertise in outbound sales motions and competitive deal management.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or HubSpot and structured sales methodologies.
- Excellent executive communication and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling data, analytics, infrastructure, or other technical SaaS solutions.
- Direct experience selling to CDOs or Heads of Data Analytics.
