Formance is a $21M Series A company backed by PayPal Ventures and top-tier investors, building the financial backend that powers the next generation of fintechs, banks, and digital platforms. We are building the infrastructure layer for modern money movement — open-source at the core, with a growing suite of financial backend modules used by platforms operating at global scale.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from initial cold conversation to signed contract on complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- Target CTOs, VPs of Product, and Heads of Engineering at fintechs, SaaS platforms, and financial institutions
- Work closely with founders and engineering teams to align sales and product strategy
- Bring market signals back from the field to shape product development
- Identify high-potential US targets, run deep discovery calls on architecture, and navigate procurement and compliance
Requirements
- 4+ years in B2B tech sales with a track record of closing complex deals with technical buyers
- Experience selling infrastructure, APIs, developer tools, or technical SaaS
- Deep understanding of US enterprise and mid-market procurement cycles and stakeholder dynamics
- Ability to thrive in an early-stage environment where processes are still being defined
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts simply to both engineers and CFOs
- Fintech or financial infrastructure experience
