About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales excellence by sourcing, nurturing, and leading a sales pipeline from prospecting to closure
  • Consistently exceed an annual revenue quota of $1M+
  • Win new business by leveraging innovative sales strategies to acquire net-new enterprise customers
  • Provide reliable monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue forecasts
  • Develop comprehensive territory and go-to-market strategies to maximize market penetration
  • Own all pipeline generation activities in collaboration with Sales Development and Marketing teams
  • Present Cloudinary’s features and benefits in a compelling, tailored way to diverse prospects
  • Partner with Client Success, Sales Engineering, and Product teams to ensure long-term client success

Requirements

  • Fluent in both German and English
  • 8+ years of experience in a tech-oriented B2B SaaS sales role
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding annual quotas of $1M or more
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex enterprise sales cycles and acquiring high-value clients
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey technical concepts
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for client meetings and industry events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to German enterprise customers in digital experience, media, commerce, or MarTech
  • Familiarity with multi-threaded sales strategies and executive-level stakeholder engagement
  • Experience building territory plans for German-speaking or broader EMEA markets
  • Experience working in a distributed, multicultural environment
