About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day account activities independently, including client deadlines and budget integrity
- Develop creative briefs and contribute to strategic and tactical agency planning
- Maintain regular contact with client product managers to ensure they are briefed on all relevant activity
- Lead internal meetings such as status updates and job start-ups to generate workable conclusions
- Monitor fee hours and proactively alert management if projects are heading out of scope
- Evaluate creative work for consistency, accuracy, and brand alignment
- Provide mentorship and performance feedback to Account Executives and support staff
- Manage client expectations to foster productivity and effectiveness
Requirements
- College degree, preferably in marketing, advertising, communications, or science/medicine
- 3 years of agency or comparable experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Well-developed knowledge of business practices and vendor relations
- Ability to travel for in-person client meetings
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working within the pharmaceutical industry
