Senior Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day projects and collaborate to advance communications strategy for high-profile client accounts
• Implement integrated campaigns using public affairs, media, and digital tactics
• Maintain strong relationships with key reporters across various advocacy issues
• Write and edit persuasive documents including press releases, op-eds, fact sheets, and talking points
• Identify and engage with new media platforms such as independent journalists, podcasts, and news influencers

Requirements

• 3-4+ years of experience in strategic communications, media relations, advocacy, or journalism
• Direct experience in international relations or public affairs
• Proven relationships with reporters covering politics, social justice, and philanthropy
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of organizing and advocacy communications, including social media campaigning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in public affairs or communications on a political campaign
• Track record of securing media placements for nonprofits or advocacy groups
• Background in international affairs or global PR with reputation management knowledge
