Senior Account Executive

Abacum is the leading Business Planning solution for finance teams to drive performance. By automating reporting, enabling collaboration, and simplifying planning and forecasting, we help finance teams shift from number crunching to driving strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Understand target prospect needs and articulate the Abacum product vision and value proposition
• Communicate effectively with C-level executives and senior managers (CFOs, Head of Finance, Head of FP&A)
• Manage multiple stakeholders throughout the sales process
• Manage inbound leads and the entire sales process for mid-market customers
• Drive pipeline generation and full-cycle sales
• Act as a product expert, collaborating with the Product team to inform the product roadmap

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of quota-carrying experience in B2B SaaS
• Experience selling to mid-market businesses, ideally with complex or technical products
• Proven track record of closing 4 to 8 deals per quarter with a 2-6 month sales cycle
• Consultative sales approach with strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Consistent history of hitting or exceeding sales targets in fast-paced environments
• High adaptability to startup growth and change
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience conducting product demonstrations
• Ability to self-generate leads through targeted outbound campaigns

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling to the office of the CFO
• Previous experience in an early go-to-market team helping build playbooks and processes
• Background in finance or a mathematically inclined mindset
