Senior Account Director, Public Affairs

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of integrated public affairs campaigns combining communications, stakeholder engagement, and digital strategies
• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior clients by anticipating challenges and providing counsel
• Translate complex policy and regulatory challenges into actionable public affairs strategies
• Manage and develop junior staff through delegation and feedback
• Coordinate across internal and external teams to deploy media relations, digital advertising, and research
• Identify opportunities to build coalitions and activate third-party validators
• Drive media opportunities and thought leadership programs for executives
• Contribute to business development and growth efforts

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in public affairs and communications
• Experience advising senior executives through complex policy or reputational challenges
• Proven track record in designing multi-channel campaigns (media relations, paid marketing, grassroots engagement)
• Strong storytelling and media pitching skills
• Excellent project management and ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to quickly become fluent in new industries and policy issues
