Senior Account Director

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary strategic partner and senior point of contact for the client in Canada
• Define and execute integrated account strategy across brand, creative, media, insights, and activation
• Lead, mentor, and resource a cross-functional account team
• Translate client business objectives into clear agency briefs and measurable KPIs
• Oversee campaign planning, production timelines, and integrated delivery
• Manage escalations, mitigate risk, and maintain governance
• Ensure compliance with Canadian alcohol marketing regulations and client brand guidelines
• Identify and develop new opportunities within the account to grow the partnership
• Own the client's Canada P&L, including budget planning, revenue forecasting, and cost management
• Drive commercial efficiencies and manage scope change processes

Requirements

• Significant agency account management experience at senior or director level
• Proven track record of building and sustaining senior client relationships
• Strong commercial acumen including P&L accountability and revenue forecasting
• Experience leading integrated teams across creative, digital, media, PR, and activation
• Deep understanding of the CPG, beverage, or alcohol category
• Knowledge of Canadian regulatory requirements for alcohol marketing
• Strong account and project management skills with high attention to detail
• Experience with AI tool integration for account workflows
• Experience leading new business development and multi-stakeholder pitches
