Senior Account Director

Responsibilities

• Shape long-term strategic direction of accounts and align budgets with future opportunities
• Proactively advise clients on external market changes and lead strategic planning
• Oversee account profitability and negotiate financial arrangements
• Act as a trusted senior consultant and strategic adviser to clients
• Build and maintain relationships with clinical, industry, and NHS opinion leaders
• Identify and execute opportunities for organic business growth
• Lead, motivate, and mentor team members
• Manage resourcing and staffing levels across accounts
• Conduct appraisals and set development objectives for staff

Requirements

• Significant experience directing accounts within a Medical Education or Medical Communications agency
• Proven track record in managing account profitability, budgeting, and organic growth
• Experience acting as a senior-level adviser to healthcare and pharmaceutical clients
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and resource a team
• Solid understanding of the healthcare landscape and pharmaceutical guidelines
