Senior Account Director

Responsibilities

• Shape long-term strategic direction of accounts and align budgets with future opportunities
• Oversee account profitability and negotiate financial arrangements with clients
• Act as a trusted senior consultant and strategic adviser to clients at Marketing Director level
• Build and maintain relationships with clinical, industry, and NHS opinion leaders
• Identify and execute opportunities for organic business growth
• Lead, motivate, and mentor a multidisciplinary team
• Manage resourcing and conduct staff appraisals

Requirements

• Significant experience directing accounts within a Medical Education or Medical Communications agency
• Proven track record in managing account profitability and budgeting
• Experience acting as a senior-level adviser to healthcare and pharmaceutical clients
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and resource a team
• Solid understanding of the healthcare landscape and pharmaceutical guidelines
