About the role

Responsibilities

  • Advise students on course selection, registration, academic goals, and departmental policies.
  • Manage graduate and undergraduate program operations, including admissions, application reviews, and student onboarding.
  • Develop strategies to improve applicant quality and demographics through recruiting fairs and outreach.
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary programs and manage external collaborations with corporate and academic partners.
  • Coordinate large-scale academic events such as orientations, open houses, and graduation ceremonies.
  • Monitor student progress to degree, maintain internship records, and certify degrees upon completion.
  • Review academic trends and operational policies to recommend curriculum enhancements and ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Financial acumen skills.
  • Experience with distance education programs.
  • Experience in educational marketing and outreach.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability in relationship building and stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of Academic Advising experience.
  • 5-8 years of Academic Program Management experience.
  • 5-8 years of Teaching or Instruction experience.
