Senior 3D Technical Artist/Creative Technologist

Responsibilities

• Develop workflows to onboard robotic CAD and high-fidelity models into Unreal Engine (AirGen) and Isaac Sim
• Develop custom tools and simulation scenarios tailored to specific customer use cases, including sensor modeling
• Build and develop pipelines for generating high-quality, large-scale synthetic datasets for AI training
• Develop 3D scanning and photogrammetry workflows to create digital twins of real-world environments
• Collaborate with Robotics, Perception, and Simulation Engineers to ensure visual and physical fidelity

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Artist, Technical Director, or Creative Technologist
• Strong proficiency in Houdini for procedural generation and asset processing
• Deep understanding of Universal Scene Description (USD) within NVIDIA Omniverse / Isaac Sim
• Deep expertise in Unreal Engine (Blueprints, Materials, Niagara, Profiling) and/or NVIDIA Isaac Sim
• Proficiency in Python for automation within DCC tools and simulation environments
• Experience with 3D scanning, photogrammetry, and studio photography
• Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Azure Cloud Infrastructure for cloud-based simulation
• Experience with Optitrack and motion capture systems
• Proficiency in C++ for Unreal Engine or native tool building
• Experience with Gaussian Splatting, NeRFs, or World Models
• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360) or ROS/ROS2
