Senior 3D Print Optimization Engineer

Responsibilities

• Push the capabilities of SLA and SLS 3D printing platforms
• Architect 3D printing optimization methodologies to improve printer performance
• Drive root cause analysis across mechanics, fluid dynamics, software, chemistry, optics, electronics, and thermodynamics
• Design efficient experiments to isolate variables within complex systems
• Develop and commercialize solutions that provide immediate impact on customer print performance

Requirements

• 5+ years of post-graduate experience in a relevant field
• Experience in test design where results directly impact product performance
• Proven track record of shipping a product or process to end users
• B.S., M.S., or PhD in any science or engineering discipline
• Strong sense of ownership and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and cross discipline boundaries to solve problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Coding experience, ideally with Python
• Experience with computer-aided design (CAD)
• Understanding of material properties and characterization
• Experience participating in the release of a new product
