About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored 1:1 support for a child with additional needs
  • Plan and deliver engaging sensory and play-based activities
  • Support the child with emotional regulation and behaviour
  • Collaborate with team, families, and schools to ensure inclusion
  • Follow all safeguarding, SEND, and Health & Safety procedures

Requirements

  • Real SEND experience
  • Experience managing challenging behaviours
  • Ability to work in a child-led environment
  • Compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education
  • Ability to provide two references
  • Successful Enhanced DBS check
