SEN Teacher or HLTA - Special Needs Tutor

Responsibilities

• Deliver 2-hour lessons to transform student educational attainment, progress, and confidence
• Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including spectrum disorders and SEMH
• Track and report on student progress
• Provide instruction in various settings including homes, community locations, or schools

Requirements

• Ability to teach subjects such as Mathematics, English, Psychology, PE, Sociology, Computer Science, or Science
• Experience or qualification to teach across all Key Stages and A-Levels
• Minimum commitment of 1 academic year preferred
• Ability to undergo a Disclosure and Barring (DBS) check
• Willingness to undergo training in Safeguarding and Advanced First Aid

Preferred Qualifications

• QTS, PTTLS/DTTLS, or PGCE
• 2-3+ years of experience as an HLTA or Tutor
• Proven understanding of teaching and learning delivery methods
