SEN Teacher or HLTA - Special Needs Tutor

Responsibilities

• Deliver 2-hour lessons to transform student educational attainment, progress, and confidence
• Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
• Track and report on student progress
• Provide instruction in various subjects including Mathematics, English, Psychology, PE, Sociology, Computer Science, or Science
• Work across various settings including homes, community locations, or schools

Requirements

• Ability to commit to a minimum of one academic year
• Experience or ability to track progress reports
• Reliable, flexible, and adaptable characteristics
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional and accountable work ethic
• Understanding of teaching and learning delivery methods
• Ability to undergo a Disclosure and Barring (DBS) check

Preferred Qualifications

• QTS, PTTLS/DTTLS, or PGCE
• 2-3+ years of experience as an HLTA or Tutor
• Subject expertise in Key Stages and A-Level
