About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver 2-hour lessons to transform student educational attainment, progress, and confidence
- Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
- Track and report on student progress
- Provide instruction in various subjects including Mathematics, English, Psychology, PE, Sociology, Computer Science, or Science
- Work across various settings including the child's home, the community, or at their school
Requirements
- Ability to commit to a minimum of one academic year
- Experience or qualifications in teaching (QTS, PTTLS/DTTLS, or PGCE)
- Or 2-3+ years of experience as an HLTA or Tutor
- Ability to undergo a Disclosure and Barring (DBS) check
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional, accountable, and responsible work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- QTS, PTTLS/DTTLS, or PGCE
- Experience tracking progress reports
- Ability to cover multiple subjects across all Key Stages and A-Levels
