Semiconductors & Electronic Components Manager

Responsibilities

• Synthesize global component strategies and drive device selection to ensure project adherence to defined strategies.
• Influence supplier device definitions to align with future product requirements and unique selling points.
• Collaborate with materials management for advanced sourcing to ensure cost competitiveness and supply chain stability.
• Define electronic component requirements and deliver solutions that fulfill future product needs.
• Conduct simulation reviews with suppliers and provide direction on features and functions.
• Provide expertise on integrated circuitry technologies, semiconductor fabrication, and packaging/assembly processes.
• Ensure component-level functional safety (ISO 26262) and oversee supplier validation plans.
• Lead the technical interface with suppliers, including global coordination of development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor and/or component-level development.
• Automotive sector experience is preferred.
• Solid understanding of integrated circuit design, wafer fabrication, assembly, and test processes.
• Familiarity with industry standards including AEC-Q100, zero-defects strategies, and 8D problem-solving.
• Proven ability to work independently in a highly cross-functional, global environment.
• Strong program management, communication, and stakeholder networking skills.
