Semiconductor Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance for the CHD FAB Diffusion team, including tube/boat changes and cleaning.
• Manage the rebuild and inventory of quartz ware, subcomponents, and other assemblies related to PMs.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems.
• Execute scheduled maintenance and consumable changes on various toolsets including SVG, TEA, TEL, and Lumonics equipment.
• Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency to achieve "First Time Right" and duration goals.
• Complete necessary documentation and interface with internal and external groups to ensure safety and reliability.
• Apply 5S principles to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.

Requirements

• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum systems.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours).
• Physical ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds, as well as stooping and crawling in confined spaces.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work a compressed shift on a Days 2 schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• AA, AS, or AAS degree (or progress toward one) in electronics, chemistry, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
• Relevant military training or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience with EPI processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
