Semantic AI/ML Architect

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ontologies using OWL/RDF to model enterprise data domains and relationships.
• Build and manage enterprise knowledge graphs by linking diverse data sources into unified graph models.
• Create and optimize SPARQL queries to enable efficient data retrieval and analysis from knowledge graphs.
• Implement semantic validation rules and consistency checks using SHACL or OWL constraints to ensure data integrity.
• Integrate semantic models into existing data infrastructure, including data pipelines, APIs, and databases.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to leverage knowledge graphs for intelligent applications, such as context-aware AI agents and LLM-driven workflows.
• Stay current with emerging semantic web standards and establish internal best practices for semantic data management.

Requirements

• Hands-on proficiency with OWL (Web Ontology Language) and RDF (Resource Description Framework) for ontology modeling.
• Strong expertise in SPARQL for querying graph data.
• Practical experience building or maintaining knowledge graphs or linked data systems in an enterprise setting.
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles, data architecture, and integrating heterogeneous data sources.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python or Java.
• Advanced English language skills (C1 level).

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with metadata standards and vocabularies such as Dublin Core or schema.org.
• Experience working on projects involving AI agents or Large Language Models (LLMs) where knowledge graphs were used to improve performance.
• Proven experience integrating semantic technologies into existing enterprise systems or data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with specialized ontology and knowledge graph tools and platforms.
