Self-Perform Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Manage self-perform trade crews to ensure safety, project coordination, and schedules are met
• Oversee staffing, workforce planning, and development
• Interface with Union representatives and develop positive relationships
• Manage the effective dispatch of manpower, tools, and equipment
• Drive productivity and quality through audits, LUA reports, and coaching
• Monitor and ensure worker safety and support incident investigations
• Partner with the Project Manager to align on project goals, field strategies, and risks
• Attend pre-bid meetings and provide input on best practices and methods

Requirements

• 5+ years of construction management and/or craft supervision experience
• Current affiliation with a union trade (carpenters, laborers, operators, cement masons, etc)
• 4-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training/experience
• OSHA 30 certification
• Valid chauffeur's license or higher
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Autodesk, and Viewpoint software
• Willingness to travel or relocate for extended periods on a project basis

Preferred Qualifications

• STSC Certification
