SEIT Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the Systems Engineering, Integration & Test Section to support hypersonic testing and aerospace technology deployment
• Provide technical guidance and peer reviews to direct reports and programs
• Collaborate with senior technical leaders to establish and enforce technical best practices and standards
• Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to identify, interview, and hire qualified engineering talent
• Lead performance management, employee development, and retention initiatives
• Manage resource allocation and resolve staffing conflicts across programs
• Support proposal efforts and strategic staffing initiatives as required

Requirements

• Technical expertise in at least one engineering domain relevant to systems engineering, integration, or testing
• Proven experience recruiting and hiring technical employees
• Demonstrated success as a technical contributor or technical team leader
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for solving multi-disciplinary problems
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related discipline with 10-15+ years of relevant experience (depending on level)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading and managing technical teams of 10+ people in resource-constrained environments
• Experience working within matrixed organizations and staffing personnel across multiple programs
• Active DOD security clearance
