Segment Manager Machining & Heat Treatment Engine

Responsibilities

• Total responsibility for the machining and heat treatment areas of engine component production and their strategic development
• Promotion of a positive and productive work culture and disciplinary/functional leadership of the team
• Ensuring all management systems (quality, environment, occupational safety, energy, information security, risk)
• Analysis, control, and continuous optimization of production processes
• Initiation and management of projects to increase efficiency
• Responsibility for personnel, capacity, and budget planning
• Close cooperation with internal interfaces (e.g., quality, maintenance, engineering) and external partners/customers
• KPI-based management of the area including reporting
• Ensuring compliance with customer, aviation, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in machining
• Experience in controlling complex production areas and project management
• Knowledge of management methods and relevant standards
• Proficient SAP skills and good English skills (written and spoken)
• Organizational talent, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills
