About the role

Responsibilities

  • Incorporate regional strategy into assigned accounts to develop comprehensive licensee business plans.
  • Serve as a business consultant to assigned accounts to achieve short- and long-term partnership objectives.
  • Develop and implement annual business plans and growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with accounts to identify business opportunities and set strategic direction.
  • Manage marketing resources, expenses, and P&L guardrails effectively.
  • Partner with Technical Product Representatives to develop strategic production planning and seedstock volume goals.
  • Manage trait and germplasm sales forecasting for assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management and building effective business relationships.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead through influence and collaborate across organizational divisions.
  • Excellent communication skills to drive execution of account plans with stakeholders.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive for the company as required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 30%-50%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of relevant professional commercial experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 6 years of experience with a Master’s/MBA.
  • Direct selling experience in a commercial environment.
