Security Technician Helper

Responsibilities

• Assist Technicians with the installation of fire alarm and security system components
• Pull cable and run conduit through attics, crawl spaces, and ceilings
• Perform manual labor tasks such as drilling, fishing wire, and mounting equipment
• Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites
• Support material staging, tool organization, and jobsite setup/cleanup
• Assist with basic wiring and terminations under senior guidance
• Maintain a clean and safe job site in accordance with OSHA standards
• Learn to read basic blueprints, wiring diagrams, and device layouts

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience in general labor, construction, or a related trade
• Basic familiarity with hand and power tools
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work outdoors and on active construction sites in varying weather
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification
• Experience in the security or low-voltage industry
