Security Systems Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, service, test, and maintain electronic security systems including access control, intrusion, and video surveillance
• Interpret blueprints and update as-built documentation
• Prepare and stage equipment, tools, and materials for installation
• Maintain professional communication with internal teams, contractors, and clients
• Troubleshoot system issues accurately and efficiently
• Adhere to company, client, and industry standards for quality and compliance
• Travel as required for project assignments

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in the low-voltage industry
• Proficiency in electronic security systems
• Hands-on experience programming and configuring access control systems and panels
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
• Ability to travel for project and service work
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying climates or confined spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DMP, Bosch, AccessIT, CCure, Software House, or RS2 Technologies
• Experience with Verint, Milestone, DSX, or Verkada
• Technical training or certifications related to low-voltage or security systems
• Experience in corporate, commercial, or multi-site environments
