Security Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise security staff and other employees performing security services for guests
• Provide excellent guest service by greeting attendees and responding to inquiries or complaints
• Lead staff training, manage positioning, and ensure team members are informed on event-specific details
• Assist management in ensuring compliance with all venue policies, local, state, and federal regulations
• Oversee staff productivity and communicate assignment status and challenges to managers
• Manage ingress setup/teardown and oversee the opening and closing of designated sections
• Lead end-of-show venue closing procedures, including debris removal and perimeter checks
• Train and evaluate security team members and assign specific duties
• Write detailed reports regarding daily activities, irregularities, theft, or property damage

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar security supervisory role
• Working knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and enforcement procedures
• Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
• Ability to walk and climb stairs constantly
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.+
