Security Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise security staff and other employees performing security services for guests
• Lead staff training, manage positioning, and ensure team members are informed on event-specific details
• Provide high-quality guest service by responding to inquiries and resolving complaints
• Assist the Security Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies and local, state, and federal regulations
• Oversee staff productivity and communicate assignment status and challenges to management
• Write detailed reports regarding daily activities, irregularities, theft, or property damage
• Participate in venue sustainability programs, including waste sorting and recycling efforts
• Assist in closing the venue, which may include collecting recyclables and storing event equipment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar security supervisory role
• Working knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and enforcement procedures
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.+ and perform constant walking and climbing of stairs
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Guard Card
