Security Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise security staff and manage performance, including counseling and disciplinary actions when necessary
• Oversee facility safety operations to maintain a secure environment for employees, vendors, and visitors
• Respond immediately to emergency alarms, calls for help, and incidents, coordinating with local police and fire departments
• Enforce security and safety programs, ensuring post orders are followed and regular rounds are completed
• Monitor and maintain life safety systems, including fire panels, CCTV, and access control systems
• Train Security Officers and Shift Lead Officers on assignments and company policies
• Maintain accurate daily and weekly logs, reports, and personnel information
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager regarding account performance and security updates

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in loss prevention, life safety, or CCTV/access control systems
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within the security industry
• Valid State Guard License (required)
• Ability to write professional reports and routine correspondence
• Proficiency with computers, portable radios, and security technology

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Experience with Micro-Lite Systems
