Security Subject Matter Expert

Responsibilities

• Manage Palo Alto Firewalls and Palo Alto Prisma Access including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Apply strong knowledge of BGP routing on Palo Alto platforms
• Utilize tools such as Algosec FireFlow, Log Analyzer, and AppViz for security operations
• Optimize network security policies and streamline incident response processes
• Act as the primary consultant on cybersecurity matters and strategic recommendations
• Lead the development and management of security initiatives and programs
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and breaches
• Design and deliver security awareness training sessions
• Research latest cybersecurity trends and threat landscapes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security
• Proven experience as a security consultant or expert
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001
• Familiarity with firewall management and network security practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills for non-technical stakeholders
