Security Sr. Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for physical security, investigations, and emergency preparedness for a large campus environment.
• Lead and execute the campus Global Security strategy, aligning programs with business objectives and enterprise risk management.
• Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and threat evaluations to implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage campus security operations, including contract security services, crisis response, and business continuity support.
• Oversee internal investigations involving workplace incidents, policy violations, and criminal activity in partnership with Legal and HR.
• Provide leadership for the Security Systems function, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and visitor management.
• Lead the Campus Emergency Response Team (ERT) and oversee GSOC operations, including incident management and situational awareness.
• Serve as the primary liaison with local, state, and federal law enforcement and public safety agencies.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of combined Global/Corporate/Public Security experience OR
• Master’s degree and 4 years of combined experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of combined experience OR
• Associate’s degree and 10 years of combined experience OR
• High school diploma/GED and 12 years of combined experience.
• Proven expertise in security risk assessment and crisis response.
• Strong knowledge of physical security technology including access control and CCTV.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive security leadership experience in a large corporate campus or highly regulated environment.
• Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry.
• ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification.
• Experience managing security operations within manufacturing, research, or laboratory settings.
• Knowledge of supply chain security programs and regulatory requirements (TSA, C-TPAT).
