About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare security documentation for multiple systems, including test plans, security plans, hardware/software lists, data flow diagrams, and network diagrams
- Ensure remote access connectivity and FTP connections meet NGA and NIST requirements
- Implement security countermeasures to protect information asset integrity and enforce data sensitivity
- Manage site-to-site VPN tunnels in accordance with NGA and DoD requirements
- Follow accreditation standards using ICD 503 and RMF, managing security categorizations for confidentiality, integrity, and availability
- Conduct bi-weekly vulnerability scans and quarterly STIG system scans, providing detailed results
- Maintain audit trails to detect and report unauthorized access attempts to the ISSO
- Provide monthly audit logs and security reports to NGA
Requirements
- Active Top Secret SCI security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of related experience
- Active CompTIA Security+ and/or CISSP certification
- Proven experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and accreditation processes
- Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity policies, procedures, and NIST standards
