Security Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain physical security systems, including hardware installation, configuration, and programming.
• Troubleshoot and address issues with system components such as CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
• Conduct system testing in UAT and production environments for application and equipment upgrades.
• Collaborate with management, local business units, and internal IT groups to improve office security needs.
• Liaise with third-party vendors to support security equipment and applications.
• Assist with security investigations, including data retention and evidence distribution.
• Prepare training materials and end-user guides for security equipment and applications.
• Provide documentation and reports for internal and external compliance audits.
• Maintain inventory of all security equipment and supplies.

Requirements

• Proven hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify equipment malfunctions.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team setting.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• College or University degree and/or relevant professional work experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week (7:30am - 4:00pm).

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of risk management and physical security principles.
• Experience working within a large organizational setting.
