Security Specialist

Responsibilities

• Monitor property and utilize GDBA Command Center tools and technology
• Screen visitors and vendors; control access to protected sites
• Coordinate and execute security plans and respond to medical emergencies
• Provide physical protection and logistical support at client homes and during travel
• Provide secure transportation and advance locations prior to client arrival
• Document suspicious activity and maintain readiness to meet any threat

Requirements

• Complete a 12-Day Introductory Training Academy in San Antonio, TX
• Pass a physical readiness test including pull-ups, push-ups, sit-ups, and an 800m run
• Ability to swim
• Must be drug and nicotine free
• Pass a background check
• Obtain appropriate state firearm and security licensing

Preferred Qualifications

• Background as a collegiate or professional athlete
• Fitness training or instruction experience (e.g., NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM)
• Military fitness training background
• Experience in Pilates, yoga, bodybuilding, Olympic powerlifting, HYROX, or CrossFit

Benefits

• First-year base earnings of at least $90,000, up to $110,000 based on experience and performance
• $2,000 sign-on bonus for Bay Area hires
• 401(k) with $15,000 employer contribution in year one and $3,000 annually thereafter
