About the role
Responsibilities
- Explore and interpret transactional and behavioral data to identify fraud patterns and emerging risks
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Splunk, Azure Data Explorer, and Databricks
- Investigate and respond to digital fraud threats including account takeover and marketplace abuse
- Design and deploy detection rules, alerts, and use cases within fraud monitoring platforms
- Partner with Data, Engineering, and Product teams to improve risk engines and workflows
- Perform root cause analysis on fraud incidents and contribute to prevention strategies
- Support fraud-related incident response and post-incident reviews
Requirements
- Experience in digital fraud, threat hunting, or fraud risk management
- Hands-on experience with fraud detection systems or SIEM platforms
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and Python for data analysis and automation
- Experience working with large-scale datasets
- Experience developing detection logic or scoring approaches
- Solid understanding of common fraud and abuse patterns
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
