Security Site Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a team of armed security officers
• Control facility access by monitoring surveillance, inspecting vehicles, and verifying identification
• Perform security patrols via foot, bike, or vehicle
• Respond to on-site incidents including fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, and hazardous materials
• Execute appropriate escalation of force following established Use of Force Policy
• Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned equipment, control devices, and weapon systems
• Enforce Post Orders, company rules, and facility regulations
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of physical security experience OR High School Diploma and 4+ years of experience
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
• Ability to pass a physical fitness test (run, push-ups, sit-ups, and a crawl)
• Ability to pass firearms qualification standards for both pistol and rifle
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an armed security guard
• 2+ years of experience managing teams of 10+ people with a focus on mentoring and coaching
• 2+ years of experience in law enforcement, Department of Corrections, or the US Military
• Previous experience working at a sensitive or secure site
