Security Senior Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic planning and tactical management to protect physical assets, proprietary information, and personnel at the Puerto Rico facility.
• Develop and implement risk-based asset protection plans and security policies.
• Manage security budgets, internal/external resources, and integrated security systems.
• Lead internal investigations in coordination with Legal and Human Resources.
• Manage security response to emergency and crisis situations and develop disaster response plans.
• Oversee security system design, access control programs, and visitor/contractor management.
• Manage suppliers and external consultants supporting the security function.
• Analyze security trends and vulnerabilities to recommend cost-effective solutions.

Requirements

• Doctorate with 2 years of corporate/public security experience OR
• Master's with 4 years of corporate/public security experience OR
• Bachelor's with 6 years of corporate/public security experience OR
• Associate's with 10 years of corporate/public security experience OR
• High School diploma/GED with 12 years of corporate/public security experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Senior-level global security experience, ideally within the Life Sciences or Biotechnology industry.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field.
• ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification.
• Professional-level proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain security standards (TAPA, C-TPAT, AEO).
• Technical understanding of physical security systems and related technologies.
