Security Remote Operations Technician 3

Responsibilities

• Provide remote diagnostic and technical support for customer security and network equipment, including CCTV and access control systems.
• Maintain customer security and network equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Perform programming assignments to reduce emergency calls and achieve zero call-backs.
• Assist with the start-up of new equipment and system installations to ensure operational readiness.
• Create detailed documentation and incident reports regarding troubleshooting and equipment diagnosis.
• Deliver routine reporting to customers regarding system health, status, and compliance.
• Pre-stage and configure systems to specific customer requirements before deployment.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience working with Access Control and CCTV systems.
• Strong network and computer skills/knowledge.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues remotely.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work flexible hours as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related technical field.
