About the role
Responsibilities
- Embed with enterprise customers to deploy security AI agents into production environments
- Build custom integrations, data pipelines, and workflows to connect depthfirst with existing security tools
- Act as a technical bridge between customers and the product team to turn one-off solutions into platform capabilities
- Build deep relationships with security teams to understand and solve their unique challenges
- Own end-to-end technical delivery, from initial scoping to implementation and optimization
- Communicate technical solutions clearly to diverse stakeholders, including security engineers and CISOs
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python and experience building APIs and data pipelines
- Expertise in application security, penetration testing, or security research
- Experience with security tooling, vulnerability management, or security-focused engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills and a bias toward action
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in customer-facing work
- Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LLMs, AI agents, or AI platforms
- Familiarity with enterprise security infrastructure such as SIEM, SOAR, or vulnerability management platforms
- Prior experience as a solutions engineer, security engineer, or forward deployed engineer
- Open source contributions or experience working with large codebases
