Security Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Embed with enterprise customers to deploy security AI agents into production environments
• Build custom integrations, data pipelines, and workflows to connect depthfirst with existing security tools
• Act as a technical bridge between customers and the product team to turn one-off solutions into platform capabilities
• Build deep relationships with security teams to understand and solve their unique challenges
• Own end-to-end technical delivery, from initial scoping to implementation and optimization
• Communicate technical solutions clearly to diverse stakeholders, including security engineers and CISOs

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python and experience building APIs and data pipelines
• Expertise in application security, penetration testing, or security research
• Experience with security tooling, vulnerability management, or security-focused engineering
• Strong problem-solving skills and a bias toward action
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in customer-facing work
• Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, or AI platforms
• Familiarity with enterprise security infrastructure such as SIEM, SOAR, or vulnerability management platforms
• Prior experience as a solutions engineer, security engineer, or forward deployed engineer
• Open source contributions or experience working with large codebases
