Security Personnel

Responsibilities

• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic in accordance with internal regulations
• Patrol the perimeter and interior areas of the facility to identify suspicious activity
• Assist employees and visitors with courtesy and professionalism
• Conduct bag and carry-on luggage checks to prevent unauthorized items from entering the premises
• Issue access cards according to the Access Control Policy
• Respond to emergencies such as fire, medical incidents, or evacuations following established protocols
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of incidents and report to the Office Manager
• Participate in rotating shift work, including day, afternoon, and overnight shifts

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in security or facility protection
• Proven experience with CCTV monitoring and access control systems
• CPR certification and readiness to respond in emergency situations
• Strong ability to manage and mediate conflicts in a professional manner
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and spreadsheets for report writing
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
