Security Patrol Officer

Responsibilities

• Control access to the plant through gate operations and credential verification
• Check vehicle passes and semi-truck paperwork
• Understand and conduct Marsec (Maritime Security) procedures and vehicle inspections
• Conduct general patrols on foot and in vehicles to identify security violations
• Monitor security cameras to guard against theft and maintain safety
• Maintain accurate logs of people, property, and packages
• Respond to incidents and emergencies and record data for management
• Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
• Ability to obtain an Ohio Guard Card and a TWIC Card

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in security dispatching
• NRC Certification
