Security Patrol Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter of the retail mall.
• Provide outstanding customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by assisting with directions and general inquiries.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, or critical situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Monitor property activity to assist with access control, crowd management, and visitor interactions during peak periods.
• Document relevant details of incidents and report maintenance, lighting, or property concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain visibility to help deter unwanted activity and ensure a safe environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license (required for this driving post).
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Pepper spray certification.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet for reporting.
