About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform incident analysis and resolution for L2 security incidents
- Manage device monitoring, log analysis, and SNMP configuration
- Execute configuration changes, including patching and VPN B2B IPsec tunnels
- Coordinate with vendors for RMA, TAC, and patch upgrades
- Analyze and report on threats, attacks, and SLA/KPI metrics
- Maintain documentation including risk registers, run books, and SOPs
- Use Symantec SOC portal for log analysis and user administration
Requirements
- Experience with Checkpoint firewall (R77.xx) and Cisco ASA 51xx series
- Proficiency with Blue Coat Secure Web Gateway and FireEye ETP
- Experience using Tufin, Symantec, and Proofpoint security tools
- Ability to follow security playbooks and escalate incidents appropriately
- Experience with ITSM tools and knowledge base documentation
