Security Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate secure, scalable, and automated technology platforms for cloud and hybrid systems
• Embed secure-by-design principles and automate infrastructure and deployment processes
• Integrate security and automation across CI/CD pipelines within a DevOps-aligned environment
• Develop security policies, standards, and reusable patterns to improve platform reliability and security posture
• Manage vulnerability scanning, log analysis, and continuous security assurance

Requirements

• Expert proficiency in AWS security controls (IAM, EC2, S3, CloudTrail, Security Groups)
• Demonstrated experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines and automated security testing
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks such as AWS CDK
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools like Tenable Nessus
• Proficiency in monitoring and log analysis using AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, or the ELK Stack
• Practical experience conducting SAST and DAST using tools like Fortify, SonarQube, or Xray
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices in Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Ability to obtain an AGSV Security clearance
