Security Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate secure, scalable, and automated technology platforms for cloud and hybrid systems
• Embed secure-by-design principles and automate infrastructure and deployment processes
• Integrate security and automation across CI/CD pipelines within a DevOps-aligned environment
• Develop security policies, standards, and reusable patterns to improve platform reliability and security posture
• Manage vulnerability assessments and integrate risk data into SIEM and GRC platforms

Requirements

• Expert proficiency in AWS security controls (IAM, EC2, S3, CloudTrail, Security Groups)
• Experience delivering secure build practices within Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks such as AWS CDK
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools like Tenable Nessus
• Skilled in monitoring and log analysis using Splunk, ELK Stack, or AWS CloudWatch
• Practical experience conducting SAST and DAST using tools like Fortify, SonarQube, or Xray
• Strong secure coding and scripting skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Eligibility to obtain an AGSV Security clearance
