Security Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deploy, document, and implement security controls at scale
• Act as a key component to the Vulnerability Management program to detect and mitigate vulnerabilities
• Provide guidance and support to the broader IT department and IT Operations team during security incidents
• Develop technical and non-technical solutions in collaboration with engineering teams
• Contribute to the development of operational playbooks and procedures

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience as a security or operations engineer
• Technical background rooted in Windows
• Ability to maintain, support, and administer Windows, macOS, and hybrid identity platforms
• Demonstrated knowledge of attack patterns, adversary methods, and protective technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills with experience in log analysis and system performance tools
• Experience deploying Endpoint Security controls (application control, log aggregation, host-based firewalls, EDR, disk encryption)
• Intermediate PowerShell scripting skills for automation and data analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a code-driven or declarative environment
• Hands-on experience with security incident response
• Knowledge of macOS security fundamentals
