About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform initial triage and investigation of security alerts across Linux, MacOS, and Kubernetes environments
- Utilize SIEM, EDR, and other security tooling to detect and respond to suspicious activity
- Support incident response activities including analysis, containment, and remediation
- Contribute to detection content and detections-as-code
- Document investigations and maintain accurate runbooks and SOPs
- Participate in a 24/7/365 SOC with a rotating on-call schedule
- Collaborate with threat intelligence and detection engineering teams
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or similar experience
- 1–2+ years of experience in security operations, SOC analysis, or incident response
- Working knowledge of Linux and MacOS systems
- Exposure to Kubernetes and containerized environments
- Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and firewalls
- Solid understanding of network protocols, VPNs, and proxies
- Strong analytical and communication skills
