Security Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Automate and deploy security controls across corporate infrastructure
• Support and contribute to vulnerability management and CVE mitigation
• Assist in responding to security incidents
• Contribute to the execution of the corporate security strategy under senior direction
• Support reporting on security metrics and provide actionable recommendations
• Manage concurrent tasks and contribute to cross-team problem solving

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar technical field
• 2–4 years of experience in IT or security-focused roles (e.g., IT Engineer, System Administrator, Security Engineer)
• Hands-on engineering experience with a focus on security tooling
• Proficiency with Windows and MacOS environments
• Experience managing MDM and MAM solutions
• Experience with alert triaging
• Knowledge of system hardening and threat modelling

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Linux and XDR solutions
• Automation experience using Go or Python
• Experience with Secure Remote Access approaches
• Interest or experience in leveraging LLMs for security automation
• Systems thinking approach to designing security solutions
