Security Operations Center Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of the assigned security team and identify areas for improvement
• Provide coaching, development, and performance management to team members
• Monitor and ensure adherence to systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards
• Recruit, select, orient, and train new employees
• Escalate significant high-risk issues to senior management and provide recommendations
• Lead response to life safety incidents including medical emergencies and natural disasters
• Ensure team adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Assign work schedules to ensure appropriate staffing to meet KPIs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 3+ years of security operations or call center experience
• 1+ years of experience directly supervising or managing a team
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts (12AM-8AM M-F with 1-2 weekends per month)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to implement process improvements
• Proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or criminal justice
• Crisis Management Leadership experience
• Experience with Jira, Wrike, or MS Project
