Security Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage the intake, prioritization, and fulfillment of research requests and incident-related information from NFL business units and external stakeholders
• Monitor and evaluate incoming intelligence from various sources to identify potential physical or cyber security threats
• Manage shared email inboxes and incident management accounts to ensure timely responses
• Monitor physical security technology systems, including video management, access control, and mass notification systems
• Conduct open-source intelligence (OSINT) research to support investigations and risk assessments
• Support the League’s Travel Risk Management Program by monitoring global security developments
• Assist in the development and maintenance of GSOC documentation, including SOPs and policy documents
• Maintain and update databases related to incident tracking and security contacts

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for developing clear emails, memos, and presentations
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Proven research skills with the ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• 2-3 years of experience in a security operations center (SOC), command center, or similar environment
• Experience working with security technology platforms such as video management or access control systems

The NFL Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) serves as the central hub for monitoring, collecting, and analyzing intelligence on physical and cyber threats to protect League interests worldwide. Based in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, the GSOC supports decision-makers and helps resolve threats to NFL personnel, assets, and major League events both domestically and internationally.
